EFG and EWC Forge Strategic Partnership to Elevate Global Esports Landscape

The ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and the Esports World Cup (EWC) have agreed to a long-term collaboration. This partnership will enable the EFG to function as the official operational partner for the EWC, taking charge of tournament management and broadcasting for the yearly event.

While the specific duration of the partnership and financial details remain undisclosed, Craig Levine, co-CEO of EFG, emphasized the significance of this alliance. He remarked it marks a pivotal moment for the global expansion of esports and highlights the successful teamwork of both organizations, their strong connections with industry partners, and their deep comprehension of how esports enthusiasts engage with the gaming world. The preparations for the EWC 2024 are in progress and will continue until the end of August. Although information regarding the timeline for the 2025 event has not been disclosed, it is anticipated to occur around the same period, transitioning from Riyadh to Qiddiya.
